Balthazar the brave and goofy Bengal cat who loves boxes immediately decided to check out the tree and give it a scratch first thing.
Then he decided that scratching wasn't enough and thought he might try climbing into one of the cubbies where he immediately expressed his pleasure and happiness.
He didn't hang out in it for very long but we're sure everyone will come around and decide we like the tree just like we did the old tree. This new one has plush carpet and new sisal ropes and a little mouse toy. So much fun.

DeleteYeah sister Darcy passed away from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy :( We discovered her previous owners (we got her for free as a retired breeding cat) had never checked her at all even while breeding her. So by the time mom discovered the HCM she only had months to live. We miss her very much but we are glad to meet up with old friends again! Simon is a very handsome Bengal Mix! We saw his pics! Have a good evening!
